About Us
Overflow Academy seeks to equip students and parents to establish God’s love through academics, arts, and leadership. We stand on Colossians 3:16,
“Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.” Colossians 3:16
Our hope is to provide a rounded education that goes beyond academics. We seek to raise leaders, build community, and promote the arts, partnering with parents by offering classes one or two days a week. We strive to offer a Hybrid Education program where:
-Trustworthy adults are investing in children
-Education, art, family, and time together is valued
-Accountability is established
-Engaging activities and deep discussion among peers is encouraged
-Children gain classroom experience learning alongside other children
-Elementary and Middle School Core Classes including Bible, Language Arts, History, Math enrichment, and Science are be offered (Math curriculum for Elementary is done at home).
-High School Classes, which fulfill the requirements required by the Florida Department of Education giving students the credits needed to graduate, are offered.
Elementary Classes
Class Descriptions:
Bible
Students are introduced to God’s Word through foundational Bible stories, memory verses, and character lessons. Emphasis is placed on understanding God’s love, the life of Jesus, and how to live in obedience, kindness, and faith.
Grammar
Students develop language skills as a gift from God, learning to communicate clearly and truthfully. Instruction focuses on sentence structure, parts of speech, and proper usage to build a strong foundation for effective communication.
Literature
Through age-appropriate stories, students explore themes of truth, courage, and moral character. Literature is used to cultivate imagination while reinforcing biblical values and discernment.
Writing
Students learn to express their thoughts creatively and clearly through writing. They practice storytelling, summarizing, and basic composition while being encouraged to use their words to glorify God.
Science
Students explore God’s creation with wonder and curiosity. Lessons introduce basic scientific concepts while emphasizing that the world is intentionally designed by a Creator.
History
Students are introduced to key historical events and people, learning that God is sovereign over all of history. Lessons highlight character, leadership, and God’s hand at work throughout time.
Music
Students explore the joy of music as a gift from God, learning to sing, listen, and create with excellence. Through songs, rhythm, and basic music concepts, students develop an appreciation for worship and the role of music in praising God. Emphasis is placed on participation, creativity, and using musical talents to glorify Him.
Art
Students are encouraged to express creativity as image-bearers of God, the ultimate Creator. Through various mediums and techniques, they learn foundational art skills while exploring beauty, imagination, and self-expression. Lessons highlight that creativity can reflect God’s character and be used to honor Him.
Physical Education (P.E.)
Students develop physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork through active play and structured activities. The class emphasizes caring for the body as God’s temple, practicing good sportsmanship, and demonstrating Christ-like attitudes such as perseverance, respect, and encouragement toward others.
Middle School
Bible
Students deepen their understanding of Scripture by studying key biblical themes, characters, and doctrines. They are encouraged to apply biblical truth to their daily lives and grow in personal faith.
Grammar
Students refine their understanding of language structure and mechanics. Emphasis is placed on clarity, correctness, and using language as a tool to communicate truth and wisdom.
Literature
Students engage with a variety of literary works, analyzing themes, characters, and moral lessons. Instruction encourages discernment and viewing literature through a biblical worldview.
Writing
Students develop structured writing skills, including paragraphs, essays, and creative compositions. Focus is placed on organization, clarity, and expressing ideas with purpose and integrity.
Science
Students study life, earth, and physical sciences while recognizing God as the Creator of all natural laws. Critical thinking and observation are emphasized alongside a biblical understanding of creation.
History
Students examine world history with an emphasis on God’s providence and the development of cultures and nations. Lessons encourage reflection on leadership, justice, and faith.
*Middle School Tuition for Thursdays: $200 per Semester for Math or Spanish and $100 per Semester for each Study Hall class period used.
Math
Students build problem-solving skills through arithmetic, pre-algebra, and introductory algebra concepts. Math is presented as an orderly system that reflects God’s consistency and design.
Spanish
Students are introduced to the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures. Learning a second language is framed as a way to connect with others and share God’s love across cultures.
Study Hall
Students are given structured time to complete assignments, study, and develop organizational skills. This class encourages diligence, responsibility, and wise use of time as an act of stewardship.
High School
Class Descriptions
Bible
Students engage in in-depth study of Scripture, theology, and apologetics. The course equips them to defend their faith, apply biblical principles, and develop a personal relationship with Christ.
Personal Finance
Students learn biblical stewardship of money, including budgeting, saving, giving, and wise financial decision-making. Emphasis is placed on honoring God with resources and practicing generosity.
Health
Students study physical, mental, and emotional health from a biblical perspective. The course emphasizes caring for the body as God’s temple and making wise lifestyle choices.
Astronomy
Students explore the universe as part of God’s vast creation. Topics include stars, planets, and galaxies, highlighting the majesty and order of the Creator.
Spanish
Students develop conversational and written Spanish skills while gaining cultural awareness. The course encourages using language skills for service, missions, and building relationships.
Math (Must be taken Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Students study algebra, geometry, and higher-level math concepts. Instruction emphasizes logical thinking and problem-solving as reflections of God’s orderly nature.
American History
Students examine the development of the United States, including its founding principles and key events. The course explores the role of faith, leadership, and moral decision-making in shaping the nation.
English
Students study literature, composition, and critical analysis. Emphasis is placed on communicating truth effectively, analyzing ideas through a biblical worldview, and developing strong writing skills.
Study Hall

*Elementary School Tuition for Tuesdays: $1200/ year; $600 due by the first week of September/ $600 due by the first week of February
*Elementary School Tuition for Thursdays: $700/ year; $350 due by the first week of September/ $350 due by the first week of February
*Middle School Tuition for Tuesdays: $1400/ year: $700 due by the first week of September/ $700 due by the first week of February
*Middle School Tuition for Thursdays: $200 per Semester for Math or Spanish and $100 per Semester for each Study Hall class period used.
*High School Tuition for Tuesdays: Full Time (6 classes) is $2000/ year: $1000 due by the first week of September/ $1000 due by the first week of February. This includes supply fees and field trips. OR Al a Carte classes for $200 each a semester except for Bible (because we attach the supply fee and field trip fees to that class) which is $300 per semester and Study Hall, which is only $100 per semester for every hour
